Last week I spent a couple of fretful hours cutting and packing some of my home-grown amaryllis to be posted off to fellow Flowers From The Farm member Toria Britten, who was off to London to create floral displays for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018 Press Conference. As part of a team, they created the most beautiful displays of British-grown flowers, including my amaryllis. So exciting! Flowers from the Farm are a cooperative group of growers & florists with a commitment to British grown flowers. This year for the first time they are presenting at the Chelsea Flower Show itself in May, and it'll be an amazing group effort, with growers and arrangers from across the British Isles (there are 600+ members), showing what beauty can be created with our home-grown flowers. Can't wait! Here are some of my lovely winter divas - I use them from autumn to spring - their petals glisten like they've been painted with glitter dust. They are out of this world.....
