A HUGE thank you to everyone who bought Christmas flowers & wreaths from me over the festive season, & who came to my workshops - we raised £567 for Muscular Dystrophy UK! That's amazing, thank you! A special thank you to East Bridgford Hill who kindly were the venue for my workshops - and what a spectacular venue they are!
Friday saw the launch of Go Orange by MDUK, a day aimed at business and schools etc, where you pay a donation to wear something orange for the whole day, raising awareness and funds at the same time. At Daisy Works the flowers turned orange instead of people, and the wonderful Gannets Café & Bistrot in Newark became alight with orange everywhere. They have again kindly allowed a collection box, and there are mini wreaths in return for a donation. I'm really grateful for all the help and donations I receive to help MDUK, in their vital work, supporting families affected by muscular dystrophy, and funding research into treatments & ultimately cures.
