Christmas Fair at Holme Pierrepont Hall

We've just had a wonderful two days at the Christmas Fair at Holme Pierrepont Hall. This event is held annually to raise funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People. There were all manner of stalls throughout the hall and in the adjoining marquee, and it felt truly festive. We really enjoyed talking to so many people, explaining our environmentally-friendly ethos and use of British-grown only flowers & foliage, and also what we are offering this Christmas. With wreaths to order, along with table decorations and garlands, and tree decorations, there was plenty for us to talk about! There was also a huge interest in our workshops, with all our flyers going out, and today there's just a few spaces left on the 6th and 11th. We may run other dates and times, so please if you're interested, just get in touch and we'll get straight back to you.

It was really lovely to be involved in this Christmas Fair, with it's aim of raising funds for Rainbows, especially as I spoke with a lovely lady Georgia from Rainbows who explained that they provide care for boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the disease that my brother had. Stall holders donated 10% of their takings to Ranbows, and every year I donate to Muscular Dystrophy UK with every Christmas wreath I sell, and so it's good to think that the wreaths ordered at the fair will donate twice to care for those affected by DMD - through Rainbows and through MDUK.

If you're looking for environmentally-friendly Christmas decorations this year, then please get in touch - we make everything to order and deliver locally. Look out for our posting soon with more details of our Christmas decorations!
